1. Specific phenomena causing problems

2. Causes and solutions
Cause: the margin of glass edge is too large or the conveying speed is too fast.
Solution: It is recommended to reduce the glass allowance by 1-2mm on one side, and adjust the conveying speed of the belt according to the glass thickness.
Cause: The glass did not enter along the fixed side of the wheel, resulting in the glass being broken by the unilateral grinding wheel.
Solution: readjust the fixed edge and moving edge backup wheel.
Cause: The angle of the diamond wheel is not correct (i.e., grinding of the rear foot).
Solution: The front foot of the grinding wheel excessively cuts the lower edge of the glass, and the rear foot cuts the upper edge of the glass (the front edge is in the direction of the incoming piece, and the rear edge is in the direction of the outgoing piece).
Cause: The grinding wheel used has quality problems, poor cutting force, and the noise of the ground glass is too loud. In addition, the grinding proportion of grinding head distribution is not adjusted properly.
Solution: replace the grinding wheel and readjust the cutting ratio of the grinding wheel.
Cause: The cooling water pipe is blocked, not aligned to the grinding point or the cooling water is insufficient, resulting in insufficient water pressure to cool the grinding wheel.
Solution: Remove sundries such as water pump, water distribution pipe, grinding wheel water pipe and glass dust.
Cause: the grinding wheel has radial runout and axial runout due to the damage of the grinding head motor bearing or the excessive clearance of the bearing.
Solution: timely replace the damaged or excessive clearance motor bearing.
Cause: The base of rough grinding of the equipment is loose after a long time of use, and there is vibration during glass cutting
Solution: reinforce the fastening screws on the side of the motor base to make the motor slide plate move forward and backward flexibly without vibration.
Cause: positioning malfunction breaks the glass.
Solution: debug the light eye or travel switch.
3. Preventive measures
Before glass grinding in each shift, raise the clamping frame to a certain height, check whether the water pipe is aligned with the grinding point, turn on the water pump and check whether the water pipe is smooth and whether the water pressure is large enough.
Before batch processing of glass with different thickness, confirm the cutting ratio of grinding head with a piece of glass with the same thickness as the processed glass. Check whether there is edge collapse at the upper and lower edges.
